The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and the chairman of the board of RusHydro, Viktor Khmarin, signed an agreement on cooperation in the implementation of investment projects for the construction of a hydroelectric power station (HPP) on the sidelines of the "Caucasus Investment Forum", which is taking place in Grozny.

I am confident that the signing of this agreement will create conditions for attracting investment in the energy sector of the republic.

RusHydro began construction of a new hydroelectric power station on the Argun River in 2023. This was the company's first project in Chechnya.

The hydroelectric power station is located near the Ushkaloy twin towers, built in the XII century. The construction of the hydroelectric power station has entered an active phase. Its design capacity is 10 MW.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that RusHydro and Rosatom State Corporation are preparing large projects in Vietnam.
