Russian military forces are actively using FAB-3000 aerial bombs, the accuracy of which has significantly increased thanks to universal planning and correction modules (UMPC). The first footage of the modernized projectile has appeared online.
The photographs show that a streamlined fairing has appeared on the nose of the FAB-3000, similar to the FAB-1500 and FAB-250.
The UMPC itself, according to the photographs, also looks similar to the one used on the 1500 kg bomb. The munition was installed on a Su-34NVO front-line bomber.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces created a miniature wheeled drone to destroy enemy fortified areas. The platform is capable of delivering a TM-62 mine to the enemy's dugout and detonating it.
