Specialists of the Research Institute "Mashtab" (part of the "Ruselectronics" holding) have tested a prototype of the new generation Zenator EVO firewall, which is built on the basis of Russian circuitry solutions and software. The device protects the IT infrastructure through traffic filtering, an intrusion detection and prevention system, the holding's press service reported.
Zenator EVO can be used in important segments of a corporate or departmental network infrastructure with up to 50 workstations. The device combines the functions of switching, routing and network packet filtering mechanisms, which allows optimizing data transmission at a speed of at least 400 Mbit/s in firewall mode. This is the fifth device in the Zenator family.
The equipment provides comprehensive network security by filtering traffic at the application level and using an integrated intrusion detection and prevention system.
The developers offer basic technical support for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extension.
