The Russian heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" has received an improved system (EW) to suppress enemy drones. Thanks to this, the installation will be protected by a kind of protective "dome".
The EW system helps us. That is, anti-drone guns, all sorts of other systems that jam, suppress communication. It creates such a kind of dome, it turns out, and different frequencies, for example, an FPV drone flies at one frequency, other drones - at another. And together we get that we close the entire range.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation added that the machines have been seriously modified, they have an automatic targeting system, and an improved electronic warfare system is used to combat drones.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces began to use a symbiosis of the FPV drone "Piranha" and UAV aircraft type. Such UAVs can simultaneously carry other drones, drop them and work as a repeater.
