Новый способ защиты российской спецсвязи разработала «Росэлектроника»

The device allows working with information of a high level of confidentiality

The Ruselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation has developed equipment to provide cryptographic protection for special communication networks.

The M-757A product of the Penza Research Electrotechnical Institute (PNIEI, part of Ruselectronics) allows working with information of a high level of confidentiality.

In the M-757A device, everything - from the case to the electrical circuits - was created at PNIEI. The product does not have software from third-party developers; the company owns all the source codes. The key feature of the new equipment is that we managed to combine three functions on one platform - an IP encryptor, a firewall, and a router. The device allows processing confidential information of class KA and is being certified according to the requirements of the FSB as a router and firewall.
Vyacheslav Funtikov, General Director of PNIEI

M-757A is designed to provide cryptographic and spoofing protection (protection against the imposition of false data) of information in geographically distributed multi-service special communication systems that support TCP/IP protocols.

The characteristics of the M-757A are quite impressive. It:

  • works with 5,000 devices in the network;
  • has a bandwidth of up to 1 Gbps;
  • has an encryption speed of 400 Mbps on 256-byte packets and 900 Mbps on 1400-byte packets;
  • provides interaction via IP version 4 protocol;
  • can be controlled both locally and remotely via a secure communication channel.

In addition, this equipment from PNIEI is capable of operating around the clock in unattended mode.

Earlier, the Aquarius group of companies launched the production of a new model of the Aquarius Cmp NE355 laptop, which can work with state secrets. It supports trusted boot modules and is capable of processing any information without leaks. Aquarius Cmp NE355 has already been included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and can be purchased by government agencies.
