Russian military personnel at the forefront have tested the latest dome-type electronic warfare system "Zont", which is capable of jamming FPV drones within a radius of up to 500 m. The novelty was created by the company "Eliars", it was developed specifically at the request of military personnel from the LBS.
At the moment, none of the FPV drones used during the tests were able to fly up to the "Zont". Depending on what kind of UAV it is, the picture or control channel is lost, and sometimes both. We tested the "Zont" by simulating a situation, taking a three-liter bottle of water, loading it onto an FPV drone and trying to drop it on the car. As a result, none of the drones we used were able to complete the task.
The manufacturers noted that the product was launched into mass production after positive feedback from the Russian military. The "Zont" turned out to be compact, the weight of the system is about 20 kg, the operation is carried out in the frequency ranges - from 0.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian aviation began to use advanced stealth missiles Kh-59MK2. They are designed to engage stationary ground targets with known location coordinates, including those that do not have radar, infrared, and optical contrast in relation to the surrounding background.
