Новый кроссовер появился на сайте завода «Москвич», а потом исчез

The car sales were planned to start in autumn

The "Moskvich 8" crossover suddenly appeared on the website of the Moscow plant "Moskvich". The start of sales of the large SUV was planned for the end of 2024.

Information about the Sehol X8 Plus model (as the car is actually called) could be found in the "Model Range" section of the website. At the bottom there was a note that the car would be on sale soon. However, when you clicked on the car, an error 404 was displayed (meaning that the page does not exist on the site).

It is unknown whether this was a technical error, or whether the plant could have hinted at an imminent premiere in this way, but after a while the mention of the new crossover disappeared from this section of the site.

In the "Moskvich" plant lineup, the eighth model will be the largest crossover. Its length will be 4.8 meters. The car will receive a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 174 horsepower and a robotic gearbox. The crossover will not have all-wheel drive.

Earlier www1.ru wrote that in June the "Moskvich" car plant sold 1.3 thousand cars, but the demand for these cars has decreased over the past three months.
