Analysts at AlixPartners predict the expansion of Chinese automotive companies worldwide by 2030. Experts are confident that the share of cars from China in the global market will reach 33% in six years, and in Russia — 70%. Current figures are 21% and 33%, respectively.
This year, sales of new Chinese cars worldwide will amount to 3 million cars, and by the end of 2030 this figure could reach 9 million cars. The number of cars from China in the European market will double to 12% by 2030, in Africa and the Middle East — will increase from 8% to 39%, and in South and Central America – from 7% to 28%, experts predict.
The main reason for this, analysts call the rapid cycle of development and release of new models to the market by the Chinese, as well as the aggressive pricing policy of automakers from China.
