Грузооборот упал на 3%: РЖД раскрыли статистику погрузки на сети за июнь

Loading on the "Russian Railways" network in June amounted to 98.3 million tons,

JSC "Russian Railways" has published cargo turnover statistics for June of this year. The company's report makes it clear that network loading decreased by 3% compared to June of last year.

It is noted that cargo turnover, taking into account the mileage of empty wagons, decreased by 4.8% to 252.3 billion ton-km over the same period. Loading on the network for June of this year decreased by 4.1% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 204.4 billion tariff ton-km.

Cargo turnover statistics for January-June 2024 also show an overall decrease of 3%.

Loading data for January-June compared to the same period in 2023:

  • Coke – 6 million tons (+6%).
  • Coal – 169.2 million tons (-5.5%).
  • Manganese and Iron ore – 54.3 million tons (-5.7%).
  • Oil and oil products – 104.4 million tons (-1.1%).
  • Ferrous metals – 32.2 million tons (-5.1%).
  • Cement – 11.6 million tons (-2.3%).
  • Mineral and Chemical fertilizers – 33.9 million tons (+9.2%).
  • Ferrous metal scrap – 5.6 million tons (-12.3%).
  • Construction cargo – 57.8 million tons (-12.8%).
  • Grain – 15.9 million tons (+5.5%).
  • Timber cargo – 13.9 million tons (-0.1%).
  • Industrial raw materials and molding materials – 16.8 million tons (+16.2%)
  • Non-ferrous ores and sulfur raw materials – 8.3 million tons (-7.7%).
  • Chemicals and soda – 10.7 million tons (-2%).
  • Other, including cargo in containers – 59.9 million tons (+2.5%).

Russian Railways also reported that cargo traffic this year amounted to 1261.9 billion tariff ton-km, which is 5.7% lower than in 2023. Cargo turnover, taking into account the mileage of empty wagons — 1561.4 billion ton-km. It also fell by 6.5% compared to 2023.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian Railways delayed the supply of LPG to Kyrgyzstan due to a shortage of tank cars.
