"Yandex Lavka" has launched a new service — fast delivery in an hour from a wide catalog of products. Customers of "Big Lavka" have access to children's toys, household chemicals, household goods and much more, the company's press service reported.
The service is currently in testing. But the first darkstore is already operating in Moscow. Its area reaches 1000м², which is twice the size of standard warehouses. This allows you to store about 10 thousand units of goods.
The work of "Big Lavka" is being tested in the Nagorny district of Moscow, the delivery radius from the warehouse — up to 5 km. After placing an order, it is delivered by a courier by car within 1 hour.
The catalog of goods "Yandex Lavka" was formed taking into account the purchase statistics on "Yandex Market". The developers plan to study the interests of buyers and expand the range further.
In the future, it is planned to open two more "Big Lavkas". Customers within the coverage area of large darkstores will be able to place large orders from large warehouses, or continue to make small orders from "Lavka near the house" with delivery from 10 minutes.
