The "Legionnaire" fixed-wing drone (modification "Aerologistics"), developed by specialists from the "Quiet Wings" Group (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern), transported 200 kilograms of cargo over 660 kilometers and won the "Aerologistics" NTI technology competition. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The human-sized drone performed 20 takeoffs and landings in 9 hours, 41 minutes, and 56 seconds, moving 200 kg of cargo between three sites. This confirms its reliability for use in civilian purposes.
"Legionnaire" is an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft capable of delivering cargo to remote locations, conducting remote sensing of terrain, and video monitoring.
According to Maslyanko, the company supplies an analogue of the "Legionnaire" under the national UAS project as part of a civilian government order to the State Transport Leasing Company (JSC "GTLK").
The "Kalashnikov" concern offers not only civilian drones, but also a set of onboard avionics, software, and communication equipment. These UAS tools can be installed on UAVs of any type and size.
