Insiders have published a photo of the LADA e-Largus traction battery. It is scheduled to be officially presented on June 26 at the "Electrotrans-2024" exhibition in Moscow.
The battery will be installed in the rear of the car. The basic version of the station wagon will have a 45.7 kWh battery, while the maximum version will have a 51 kWh battery. The mass of the first battery is 296 kilograms, and the second is 320 kilograms. The top cover is made of plastic, and the body is made of extruded aluminum.
Full thermostatic control (both cooling and heating) is implemented on liquid circuits, and it is not connected to the engine cooling system.
These batteries are already being mass-produced at the enterprise of the company «Autonomous Energy Systems», which is part of NPP «Itelma». The first batch of batteries has already been sent to Izhevsk to the AvtoVAZ plant.
