«Autonomous Energy Systems» company (produces traction batteries for e-Largus) has introduced battery packs for public electric transport «Zeta». The company's development surpasses foreign counterparts in its class.
The weight of the block is 390 kg, which is significantly lower than the weight of battery pack models from other manufacturers. The energy density of the battery is more than 190 W•h/kg, the energy of the block is 73.5 kW•h.
The use of «Zeta» will reduce the weight of the electric bus up to 400 kg, which will increase the passenger capacity of the transport
One «Zeta» block will be enough for the operation of a trolleybus on electric traction. Two or three blocks can be installed on electric buses with fast charging - for example, those that run in Moscow. The first «Zeta» batteries will be installed on prototypes of e-City Max electric buses.
