Fplus, a domestic electronics manufacturer that produces servers, monitors, mobile devices, laptops, servers, and other equipment, has launched mass production of color laser printers. They are produced in the Moscow region.
The Fplus MC241adfw printers, as noted by the company, are the first of their kind in Russia with their own software, and they have been made compatible with major operating systems from the Ministry of Industry and Trade registry.
The start of color laser printer production in Russia is an important step for Fplus and for the domestic printing market as a whole. Any development and independent production lead to technological independence. In the next few years, we intend to take a total share of 30% of the entire Russian printer market.
Fplus MC241adfw works with A4 paper and is capable of printing up to 24 pages per minute. In addition to printers, Fplus also supplies customers with original consumables for them and promises to provide technical support.
The first few hundred printers from the commercial batch are already ready for shipment, and Fplus intends to produce more than 100,000 units of this equipment per year. However, with the caveat «depending on the workload of the lines with other orders»: other equipment from this manufacturer is also assembled at the Moscow region plant, and there have been no announcements about expanding the plant's capacity yet. The actual volume of printers produced will ultimately depend on market demand.
