Electronic warfare units of the Russian Armed Forces have begun using jamming generators on special equipment based on armored personnel carrier chassis to counter enemy control, communications, and reconnaissance systems. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
These special combat vehicles go to the line of combat contact and cover positions from enemy kamikaze drones. The suppression station is also effective against reconnaissance drones, including those of the aircraft type.
The detection radius is up to two kilometers. After that, a decision is made to activate the suppression means, and the enemy's means are suppressed. They behave differently. Some may fly back to the operator, fall, land, or explode in the air.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian military received a batch of "Planshet-A" artillery control vehicles. The complex automates the control of MLRS crews, as well as artillery and mortar units.
