Video hosting users have reported that the Rutube icon has disappeared from the AppStore catalog. During the search, a system message appears stating that "the application is no longer available in your region."
State Duma deputy Anton Gorelkin commented on the situation. He noted that in August 2022, Apple prohibited users worldwide from accessing Rutube — at that time, only residents of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan were included in the list of exceptions.
Today, the application has become unavailable to users of the Russian App Store. We are waiting for official statements, although it is already clear that this can only be called censorship.
It is worth noting that there is no such problem in Google Play — the application is still indexed by the system and available to users.
