The "Aurum" paddle passenger ship, built by specialists from the "Lotos" production site (Southern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center), has been prepared for operation. The ceremony of raising the Russian flag took place on the ship. This was reported by the press service of JSC "United Shipbuilding Corporation" (USC).
The corporation's press service added that the three-deck motor ship is designed for 180 passengers, and the "Aurum" will operate on the "Moscow Round-the-World" route. Tourists will be able to visit the cities of the Golden Ring.
The ship uses technological solutions that ensure increased reliability and efficient operation in extreme shallow water – up to 1.2 meters. This gives the ship a significant advantage over the existing river tourist fleet, which is not operated at such depths.

"Aurum" is the second vessel of the PKS-180 project. The first motor ship of this project — "Golden Ring" — was commissioned in 2023. The owner of "Aurum" is Rechservice LLC.
