«CF-Kama» Company, owned by PJSC «KamAZ», has created the first prototype of an automated transmission based on ZF 9S1310TO mechanics.
The unit is called A1310. This is a robotic gearbox. управляющая электроника и актуаторы were added to the 9-speed mechanics. They are responsible for engaging and disengaging the clutch and shifting gears. It is claimed that the software and these parts are Russian-made.
PJSC «KamAZ» reported that engineers are finalizing the robotic gearbox and eliminating design flaws. The new part will be tested on various types of trucks, including the KamAZ-43118 high- проходимости, as well as the KamAZ-63934 fire truck of the K5 generation.
As a reminder, KamAZ lost its automatic transmission after ZF left the Russian market. She worked with the concern in this direction.
