The Russian Space Systems holding, which is part of Roscosmos, has launched mass production of transponder systems for Russian satellites. This is an integral part of the onboard radio engineering complex on spacecraft for various purposes.
Russian Space Systems developed the unified ultra-high-frequency devices themselves. They have already been tested on the satellites Arktika-M and Elektro-L, before being released into mass production, and they showed excellent results. The transponders have proven to guarantee reliable transmission of satellite images, television signals and radio signals, meteorological and navigation information between spacecraft and ground stations.
According to the company's press service, manufacturers are ready to "work proactively" and provide their equipment to Russian "promising space projects."
