At the HeliRussia-2024 international exhibition, held from June 10 to 12 in Moscow, UAV manufacturers presented their developments. Among those that particularly interested visitors were the Veter vertical takeoff drones from SmirnovDesign and DIAM-20 K from Ikar Group.
Veter is designed for cartography, aerial photography, and monitoring of agricultural land. Its cost ranges from 1 million rubles to 3.3 million rubles.
Features of the Veter UAV:
- equipped with an electric motor or internal combustion engine
- with an electric motor, the flight range will be 200 km
- with an internal combustion engine, the flight range will increase to 1.5 thousand km
- payload — up to 2 kg
- emergency landing — with a parachute
The DIAM-20 K drone can be used for search operations, object monitoring, and cargo delivery.
Features of the DIAM-20 UAV:
- Flight range — 500 km
- Payload — 5 kg
- Flight duration with payload — 5.5 hours
- Internal combustion engine with a volume of 40 cm³ and a power of 3.7 hp
- starter-generator, vibration-damping frame
