To develop the information technology sector in Dagestan, a cluster city is to be created. The project is planned to be implemented through attracted investments, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development of Dagestan reported.
The implementation of such large-scale projects will give a serious impetus to the development of the IT industry: this includes the development of IT infrastructure, the creation of conditions for comfortable work and living for IT specialists, the exchange of experience and the possibility of implementing startups.
It is worth noting that the cooperation agreement for the creation of the IT cluster was signed by the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan and the head of LLC «Гики-Хаус» at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2024).
Currently, a location for the start of construction is being sought. Company specialists are conducting research and forming the final concept.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Ministry of Digital Development will force the IT sector to support specialized universities.
