The ISS is preparing to receive the Russian "Progress MS-27" cargo ship. It will dock with the "Poisk" module of the Russian segment at 14:47 Moscow time.
The Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Russian "Progress MS-27" cargo ship was launched on June 30, the flight followed a two-day rendezvous scheme. You can watch the docking together with "Perviy Tehnicheskiy" and Roscosmos here.
"Progress MS-27" is carrying about 2,500 kg of cargo to orbit. This includes:
- 754 kg of fuel to refuel the station;
- 420 liters of drinking water for the crew;
- 40 kg of compressed nitrogen, which supports the ISS atmosphere;
- food, medical and sanitary supplies.
Among the cargo delivered to orbit are also special gifts for the commander of the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps, Oleg Kononenko. On June 21, the world record holder for the number of hours spent in space will celebrate his 60th birthday on the ISS.
