The ISS is preparing to release the "Progress MS-25" cargo ship on May 28, so that "Progress MS-27" can dock in its place in early summer. Its latest solar panel checks are underway at Baikonur. In addition, the Russian segment of the ISS is working on experiments.

For example, a structure made of layered composite materials with a shape memory effect for optimizing spacecraft has been launched as part of the "Perspective-KM" experiment. The "Quartz-M" experiment is also continuing, which helps to study the mechanisms, areas of origin, and development of space corrosion of materials and coatings on the external working surfaces of modules.

But most importantly, the "Pilot-T" experiment has been running in Earth orbit for almost ten years, since July 2014. It continues the Soviet-Russian "Pilot" project, which ran from 1987 to 2011.

This experiment is related to studying the professional activities of a cosmonaut during a long space flight, preserving and maintaining their skills, and adapting to complex operational tasks. The data obtained will be useful for flights to objects in the Solar System, landings on another planet, and work on its surface immediately after landing.
