В России планируют создать линейку плавучих военных беспилотников

UAVs are planned to be used to destroy dams, bridges, and river crossings

Russia has decided to create a separate line of UAVs for operation on water. Special floating devices are designed to destroy bridges, dams, and crossings. This was reported to Izvestia by a source in the military department. There has been no official confirmation of the information yet.

The line will include several models of devices. They will differ in terms of the mass parameters of the warhead and the range of swimming. Drones will be used on lakes, rivers, and coastal marine areas. The devices will be able to independently change the depth under water, as well as operate on the surface.

Some of the floating drones are awaiting testing, while others are in the process of development. All created devices will be at the disposal of the engineering troops.

Earlier it was reported that the military began testing Russian naval drones from KMZ.
