В Москве появятся самокаты МТС «Юрент» с крупными боковыми номерами

The numbers are easily readable even in the dark, they are made of reflective film

MTS Urent has begun equipping its electric scooters with large side numbers. The initiative is being carried out in the format of the "Year of Safe Scooter" campaign, the kicksharing service's press service reported.

In the next few weeks, personal mobility devices (PMDs) with numbers will appear on the streets of the capital.

They are currently located on the side of the scooter, but in the future they will be duplicated on the front and rear of the devices.

The numbers are made of reflective film, without lamination. This approach allows the numbers to be seen even in the dark. The press service of MTS Urent also added that "the numbers will appear on all service devices within the next two weeks."

Meanwhile, there are fewer and fewer "slow zones" in Moscow for personal mobility devices (scooters, monowheels, bicycles).

From Thursday to Sunday (from 18:00 to 3:00) and from Monday to Wednesday (from 20:00 to 3:00) on these streets, the maximum speed will be only 10 km/h.

It was previously noted that Russia will increase fines for electric scooter drivers.
