Russian Railways (RZD) has presented an updated tourist train "Pearl of the Caucasus". It includes a carriage with an infrared sauna and a SPA area.
Passengers can relax in the sauna by appointment. The service will operate while the train is moving between key stops along the route. The minimum stay is one and a half hours. The maximum number of guests in the spa carriage is 6 people.
Sauna visits are paid. The service includes herbal tea, shower accessories and light snacks. Additional service - washing and ironing. There is no exact information on the cost of relaxing in the spa carriage on the RZD website yet.
The "Pearl of the Caucasus" train route covers the cities of: Maikop, Vladikavkaz, Grozny, Derbent and Nalchik. The trip takes seven days.
It was previously reported that RZD will purchase almost 900 domestically produced carriages in 2024.
