The modular electronic warfare (EW) system "Volnorez" developed by Russian engineers is unique in that it can change frequencies, find the right ones and jam all types of drones, said military expert Anatoly Matviychuk.
In his opinion, this is the main advantage of "Volnorez".
Many stations operate at a fixed frequency, but "Volnorez", as the drone approaches, analyzes it and adjusts to its frequency
This approach is energy-intensive, but extremely effective. Such a system as in "Volnorez", which finds a vulnerability in UAVs, is difficult to implement. Engineers from other countries have so far unsuccessfully tried to create something similar, Matviychuk summed up.
