Russian servicemen have increased the firepower of the American Can-AM Strike-M4 buggy by installing a Soviet 7.62 mm GShG aircraft machine gun on it. The weapon was developed by specialists from the Tula "Instrument Design Bureau".
Features of GShG:
- Rotating barrel block
- Automation is based on the use of powder gas energy
- Rate of fire is up to 6 thousand rounds per minute.
- Initial bullet speed is up to 850 m/s
- Firing range is up to 1 km
- Weight is up to 19 kg
The GShG was also installed on Ka-29 helicopters. The Belarusian robotic complexes "Berserk" are equipped with a paired version of the GShG.
