The Russian government has approved a strategic direction in the field of digital transformation of the social sphere until 2030. This includes the use of Big Data technologies. The work is being carried out on behalf of President Vladimir Putin.
The government's press service clarified that Russians will receive services in the social sphere faster. In particular, a unified digital platform will appear in the country. The "Digital Social Assistant" service will be connected to it. Thanks to it, citizens will be able to receive consultations on issues of interest 24/7.
Convenience of Job Search
It will become more convenient for Russians to look for work. The "Digital Labor Market" project will appear on the "Work in Russia" platform. It will help protect the labor rights of citizens, as well as provide data on the situation in the labor market.
Assistance to People with Disabilities
A digital platform for comprehensive rehabilitation will be created for people with disabilities and children with disabilities. Mobile and web applications will also appear for communication between Russians and members of the medical and social expertise, manufacturers of rehabilitation equipment.
Currently, the main digital service used by millions of Russians is Gosuslugi. Since October 2023, the Ministry of Digital Development has introduced two-factor identification for logging into the portal. This will help protect citizens' accounts. Gosuslugi has also added new functions, including tax payments by individuals.
