From March 1 to December 31, 2023, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Avtodor Group of Companies launched free travel for electric vehicles on these highways using a special T-pass transponder.

It could be used by owners of both Russian and foreign electric vehicles. They could travel free of charge on the M-1 Belarus highways (including the Obkhod Odintsova), M-3 Ukraine, M-4 Don, M-11 Neva, M-12 Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod - Kazan, as well as on the Central Ring Road (TsKAD).

However, now the experimental regime has been canceled, it was not extended. Rosavtodor reminds that now travel for Russian and foreign electric vehicles will become paid and will be charged on both grounds.
