The Russian defense concern "Kalashnikov" has delivered the first batch of Chukavin sniper rifles (SVCh) to the customer, which retains the reliability of the world-famous Dragunov rifle (SVD), the company's press service reported.
According to Alan Lushnikov, President of "Kalashnikov", the SVCh has improved ergonomics and shooting accuracy. In addition, the rifle can be used with sighting systems of Russian and foreign production.
It is specified that in 2024 it is planned to continue the serial production of SVCh, as well as the legendary SVD.

The rifle has a low-noise shooting device, which extinguishes the flame coming from the barrel, which is usually visible at night. Thus, the device makes the shooter less visible to the enemy.
