Specialists of the Tekhmash concern, which is part of Rostec, are developing a digital industrial platform for design. Domestic software will be used at all stages of product creation – from determining the appearance of a promising product to launching it into production, the corporation's press service reported.
It is specified that the second stage of work was completed by December 2023. Prior to this, Russian engineers used foreign software when designing products.
The development, which Tekhmash will complete in 2025, is planned to be implemented at 9 factories of the concern, as well as replicated to other Rostec enterprises.
Against the background of sanctions pressure, Russia was forced to actively develop its own software for all sectors of the economy, including government structures and industry. At the same time, developers' interest in exporting software products to foreign markets, in particular to Asian and CIS countries, is growing.
