Первую в мире экосистему безопасности беспилотников разрабатывают в России

Tens of thousands of drones will be coordinated by artificial intelligence without collisions or incidents

Scientists from Samara University named after Korolev and the Institute of Image Processing Systems of the Russian Academy of Sciences are creating a unified security ecosystem for domestic unmanned aircraft systems. It is based on a basic model of artificial intelligence (UAS). There are no analogues of such a large-scale drone control system in the world.

The system will make the operation of drones safe and minimize the number of emergency situations. In addition, such a system will create an industry standard for all unmanned aviation

According to Artem Nikonorov, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the Center "Intelligent Mobility of Multifunctional Unmanned Aircraft Systems" of Samara University named after Korolev, the digital dispatcher will control the interaction of tens of thousands of drones with humans and with each other without collisions or damage.

The main requirement for the emergence and development of the unmanned aviation industry is the safest possible operation of the drone for humans and the environment, for important infrastructure. Therefore, such an intelligent system that ensures the safety of UAV flights will undoubtedly give impetus to the creation of the unmanned aviation industry in our country and in the world.

Samara is confident that AI can be scaled to many other different processes in the field of security of Russian unmanned aircraft systems.

In addition, AI will be able to create frameworks for drones of various types: from agricultural to cargo and surveillance.

The civil drone developer "Transport of the Future" has already joined the project. It is known for its plans to produce new drones in India, launch the first battery factory in Russia for drones in Dolgoprudny and develop unmanned air taxis.

However, drones will be controlled not only from the point of view of preventing them from colliding in the air with each other and harming people. The new Russian Federal Navigation Information System for controlling drones and scooters will monitor their speed and routes in the new year.
