Russia to produce new drones in India

By 2030, the joint venture hopes to occupy up to 25% of the Indian drone market

Russian drone developer "Transport of the Future" has signed a memorandum with the Indian company "Sasaa Electronics Private Limited" on intentions to create a joint venture in India.

The drones are peaceful: they will be used for cargo delivery and agricultural monitoring in Indian regions. Knock-down assembly should begin next year.

It is assumed that by 2030, the joint venture's products will be able to occupy up to 25% of the Indian market. This could potentially generate up to $1.3 billion per year.

The Indian partner of "Transport of the Future" is directly related to the venture fund "Sasaa Venture Private Limited." The venture fund is engaged in the production of automotive electronic peripherals, chargers for smartphones, laptops, tablets, and video surveillance cameras.
