Avtotor, located in Kaliningrad, has announced the launch of serial production of vehicles of the Chinese brand JMC. Currently, three models of commercial vehicles are being assembled: the 9-ton Conquer truck, the Carrying delivery truck with a gross weight of up to 5 tons, and the Vigus pickup.
JMC Carrying has a gross weight of 3.5 or 5 tons. The wheelbase is 3360 mm, and the length of the vehicle is 5900 mm. The truck is equipped with a 2.8-liter diesel engine with a power of 109 hp.
JMC Conquer received a more powerful diesel engine - with a volume of 2.5 liters, it produces 128 hp. The gross weight of the vehicle is 9.4 tons, the wheelbase is 3815 mm, and the length of the vehicle is 6990 mm.
JMC Vigus is a passenger model that does not require a category "C" license to drive. The gross weight of the pickup is 2.8 tons, the wheelbase is 3085 mm, and the length of the vehicle is 5345 mm. Under the hood, there is the same diesel engine as in the JMC Conquer.
JMC vehicles will be equipped with various special and universal superstructures. The vehicles will be presented as refrigerators, aerial platforms, garbage trucks, tow trucks, etc.
As a reminder, Avtotor's production plan for 2023 is 70,000 vehicles, and next year the plant plans to produce 100,000 vehicles. Currently, in addition to JMC, Avtotor produces vehicles of the Chinese brands Kaiyi, BAIC, and SWM.
