The agency "Avotstat" shared the statistics of car sales in Russia in July 2023. It turned out that in July, 16% more cars were sold than in June. And in annual terms, the growth is even 2.7 times. If we proceed from the volume of sales (95.7 thousand cars were sold), then July ended up being the best month for almost the last 1.5 years (in February 2022, 99.1 thousand cars were sold).

The leader of the domestic market is Lada. Last month AvtoVAZ sold 27.4 thousand cars. In second place with a result of 10.7 thousand cars is Chery, the top-3 is closed by Geely (8.8 thousand cars or more than 9% of the market). The top-10 also includes Haval, Changan, Omoda, Exeed, Kia, Hyundai and Toyota.

In the model race, Lada Granta secured the first place (16.3 thousand sold cars). This is followed by Lada Vesta (5 thousand), Chery Tiggo 7 PRO Max (4.8 thousand), Haval Jolion (4.3 thousand) and Geely Coolray (3.9 thousand).

In total for 7 months of this year, 497.2 thousand new cars were sold in Russia. This is 28% more than for the same period last year.
