The patrol ship "Viktor Veliky" (Project 22160) will join the Black Sea Fleet after sea trials in the Baltic Sea. The vessel is equipped with advanced radar equipment, information from which is transmitted to the combat information post, according to Bulgarian Military.
The ship received advanced navigation and radar equipment, including the Fregat-M2EM radar. The device allows tracking surface and air targets with high accuracy.
"Viktor Veliky" carries the Pantsir-M anti-aircraft missile and artillery system (ZRAK) to intercept aircraft, missiles, and drones. The ship is armed with a 100 mm A-190 naval gun.
The patrol ship is designed to be converted to perform various tasks — from anti-piracy operations to providing humanitarian assistance.
The vessel can be equipped with additional modules for landing operations, environmental monitoring, and security in the water area.
