The method of protecting refineries from drone attacks is named: deploy Tor-M2 and Gibka-S SAMs on lattice towers

Damantsev called for the deployment of Tor-M2 and Gibka-S SAMs on lattice towers to protect refineries from drone attacks

To prevent kamikaze drone attacks on oil refineries, it is necessary to deploy Tor-M2 and Gibka-S anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) on lattice towers up to 30 m high near them. This was stated by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.

SAM "Tor-M2"
In order to prevent the breakthrough of enemy kamikaze drones to refineries and oil depots, two to three Tor-M2 SAMs, as well as five to six Gibka-S military SAMs equipped with 9M336 Verba anti-aircraft missiles with a range of 6 km with bispectral homing heads, should be deployed radially from such facilities. All assets must be deployed exclusively on lattice towers with a height of 20 - 30 m, depending on the terrain.
