Indian company JSR Dynamics is developing a Rampage-class guided missile, which is planned to be launched from both ground installations and Su-30MKI aircraft. The development was reported in an IDRW publication.

The developer positions the munition as a more affordable means of high-precision target engagement for the Indian army and air force. In an interview with BharatShakti, a company representative spoke about the missile and showed its body. According to former Deputy Chief of Air Staff of the Indian Air Force, Air Marshal Shirish Baban Deo, 12 such missiles could be acquired for the cost of one imported analogue.

JSR Dynamics has not yet disclosed the range of the new development. The 250–300 km mentioned in publications refer to a previously announced program for creating a 324 mm guided missile and are not confirmed as characteristics of the munition shown in the latest interview. The company also produces 300 mm guided missiles, but there is no basis to consider them identical to the new aviation version.

The ability to launch from the ground and an aircraft requires adapting the design to different operating conditions. For the Su-30MKI, compatibility with suspension points, operation of control systems, and confirmation of safe separation of the munition from the aircraft are important.

It was previously reported that the Su-30MKI may receive four missiles lighter than a ton instead of one BrahMos-A. A specially modified version of the fighter, created for the use of the 2.5-ton BrahMos-A, will potentially receive four LRLACM per sortie.
