Kalashnikov Concern shipped a batch of 40-mm GP-34 under-barrel grenade launchers to a customer from the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the company's press service. The products were shipped on schedule, and the obligations under the 2026 contract were fully met.

What kind of grenade launcher
The GP-34 is designed to engage enemy personnel and unarmored vehicles using high-explosive fragmentation and thermobaric grenades at distances up to 400 meters. It also performs special law enforcement tasks using non-lethal, illuminating, and signal rounds such as VOG-25. Firing can be done in a direct or high-angle trajectory.
Design and compatibility
The grenade launcher has a muzzle-loading design, classic for this class of weapon. It provides high rate of fire and ease of loading. It can be installed on modern Kalashnikov assault rifles with a barrel length of 415 mm and on the Nikonov AN-94 assault rifle.
The GP-34 is in service with the Russian Army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Earlier, www1.ru reported on the deliveries of these grenade launchers in June 2026.
