Rostec has launched the fully domestic IGLA small arms system, which combines a modular rifle and a line of five .308 Win (7.62×51 mm) cartridges. The system is designed for hunting and sport shooting, and the manufacturer claims a full cycle of weapon and ammunition production from Russian components.

The rifle is produced in two main variants. Sporting versions are equipped with heavier barrels designed for stability during range shooting, while hunting versions receive lighter barrels to reduce weight and maintain portability. Barrel length is 420 or 600 mm.

The IGLA ammunition includes five .308 Win variants with different bullets: hunting SP 150, Shakal 141, Shakal 160, and Rocket 116, as well as the Match 160 sport cartridge.

Separately, Rostec disclosed the accuracy indicator for the new high-speed Rocket 116 cartridge. According to the corporation, at a distance of 100 m, the rifle provides an accuracy of about 0.5 MOA — which corresponds to a dispersion of approximately 15 mm.

The manufacturer indicates that the achieved result allows the system to be used for hunting small animals at distances up to 400 m.

The rifle's design allows for quick disassembly into two parts, making the weapon more compact for transport. It also features an adjustable trigger, a multi-position stock, and the ability to install various sights and other equipment.
