The operation of the cargo-passenger ferry "Dorozhnik" (project 70240) on the Malomorskaya River Station (MRS) — Olkhon crossing on Lake Baikal was suspended from September 22 to October 1, 2026. This was reported by the press service of the East Siberian River Shipping Company (AO "VSRP").

The vessel was sent for scheduled maintenance. Two other ferries — "Semyon Batagaev" (project 82771) and "Olkhonskiye Vorota" (project 603A/709) will continue to operate on the line according to the schedule, the transport company's press service specified.

"Dorozhnik" was built at the Ulan-Ude Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Plant in 1992. The ferry can accommodate 50 passengers and 8 cars up to 10 m long, 3.5 m wide, and 3.3 m high. The full displacement is 196 tons.
