Rostec offered the Indian army the TKB-1167 "Bizon" aerial target engagement system to combat small-sized drones. This was reported by the Indian specialized resource IDRW, which noted that the Russian development could be considered for anti-drone defense tasks.

According to the publication, the Russian development can be considered for tasks of protection against small-sized drones. There has been no official statement from the Indian military department regarding the selection or purchase of the TKB-1167 yet.

The TKB-1167 is designed to engage small, low-flying targets and is equipped with four 7.62 mm PKT machine guns. According to Rostec's official description, the system is capable of independently detecting, acquiring, recognizing, and tracking drones, and then transmitting target designation to the machine gun mounts. The operator makes the final decision on target destruction.

The developer positions the complex as a means of close-range protection for infrastructure facilities, which can be used independently or as part of an echeloned air defense system.

Rostec previously stated that the TKB-1167 is already on combat duty and has been used against real targets.

The international premiere of the TKB-1167 took place in September at the El Alamein International Airshow 2026 in Egypt.
