The Russian Ministry of Defence has filed a lawsuit against JSC "GRC Makeeva", the developer of the latest Sarmat ballistic missiles. The case, involving almost 12.5 million rubles, will be heard by the Arbitration Court of Moscow.

The court has accepted the application for proceedings. The first court hearing in the case is scheduled for November 9, 2026.
JSC "GRC Makeeva" is the main developer of the fifth-generation strategic missile system RS-28 "Sarmat". The center's designers developed the missile, created blueprints, calculated its trajectory, and are responsible for the entire complex.
The Sarmat missile system will enter service with the Russian Armed Forces in 2027. The missile is capable of flying 35,000 km, and no existing air defense system can shoot it down.
This is not the first lawsuit against "Makeevtsy". Recently, the Severodvinsk Shipyard went to court against the enterprise with a demand to recover 76 million rubles.
