Russians will be able to register and confirm accounts of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs on Avito, HeadHunter, Yandex, Ozon, and VK through "Gosuslugi". The Russian Government has expanded the list of purposes and information that a user, with their consent, transfers to the platforms.

The experiment on identification via "Gosuslugi" has been ongoing since 2021: its participants log in to third-party resources and, if desired, transfer information for filling out contracts and applications. The expansion also concerns intellectual property: on a number of resources, users will be able to confirm rights to such objects.

In late June, President Vladimir Putin signed a law on administrative liability for users from the Russian Federation logging in through foreign services and violations in the use of recommendation technologies. For legal entities, the fine ranges from 500,000 to 700,000 rubles.
