The new Russian interceptor drone "Malysh" destroyed about 11 aircraft-type drones in one day. This result was demonstrated by the crews of the 506th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the "Center" group, who recently received the apparatus and are already using it in large numbers. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence. Among the targets hit were the reconnaissance drones "Leleka" and the attack drones "Hornet".

The interceptor is designed to combat aerial targets and combines compact dimensions with the ability to quickly gain speed and altitude.
According to the military, the apparatus's cruising speed reaches 100–120 km/h, its maximum flight altitude is 5 km, and its operating time in economic mode is up to one hour.
Preparation for launching "Malysh" takes 5–10 minutes. The apparatus features automatic launch and a rotating camera with a 180-degree view, while additional flight modes enhance its maneuverability. To hit a target, a direct ram or electronic detonation of the warhead is used.
The military also notes that the small interceptor is lighter and more maneuverable than other apparatuses of this class, allowing it to gain speed and altitude faster. Among the targets already hit are the reconnaissance drones "Leleka" and the attack drones "Hornet".
