M.Video-Eldorado dropped out of the top ten largest Russian retailers in the second quarter of 2026. At the beginning of the year, the group ranked tenth, and at the end of 2025, it was ninth, Vedomosti writes, citing Infoline-Analytics data.

From April to June, the company's revenue fell by 40% year-on-year, to 47 billion rubles. At the same time, the retailer is restructuring its business around a marketplace and an agency model, so it is more difficult to assess its sales by revenue alone. If GMV — the total value of all goods sold — is taken into account, the group ranks 12th among retail chains.
The offline business is changing particularly noticeably. Over the year, the number of M.Video and Eldorado stores decreased from approximately 1,100 to 638, and retail sales in the first half of the year fell by 36.8%, to 89.2 billion rubles. Online sales decreased significantly less — by 6%, to 63.4 billion rubles. At the same time, the turnover of its own marketplace grew 4 times and exceeded 17.7 billion rubles.
Against this background, the largest market players continue to grow. X5 retained first place with revenue of 1.29 trillion rubles, Wildberries received 1.28 trillion rubles, Ozon — 1.04 trillion rubles, and Magnit — 976.4 billion rubles. In general, the revenue of the ten largest retailers in Russia for the quarter increased by 10.8%, to 3.74 trillion rubles.
At the same time, M.Video continues to restructure its debts. At the end of August, the company agreed with one of its key creditors on a credit line of 17.5 billion rubles with a maturity date in 2033.
