The new "Zanoza" interceptor drone was developed by the Ural design bureau Zanoza drones. The new product can reach speeds of up to 400 km/h, which is almost twice as fast as other domestic counterparts.

The interceptor's take-off weight is 15 kg. At the same time, "Zanoza" can operate as a ram or hit drones with a warhead.

The exact range of the interceptor drone is unknown, but AI technologies for automatic target acquisition are also provided on board.

It should be noted that the well-known "Yolka" interceptor drone is already in service, but it only accelerates up to 200 km/h and hits exclusively by ramming. In light of the development of jet drones, its capabilities may not be enough.

For example, the 57E6E anti-aircraft missile of the "Pantsir-S1" accelerates to 4680 km/h upon launch, which corresponds to hypersonic speed. However, it is incomparably more expensive than any light interceptor drone, and also more difficult to produce.
