The Russian cargo spacecraft "Progress MS-33" has completed its mission at the ISS. After undocking from the "Poisk" module, the spacecraft was deliberately deorbited. The ship entered the dense layers of the atmosphere and disintegrated, then sank in the Pacific Ocean.

"Progress MS-33" launched from Baikonur on April 26 and arrived at the International Space Station two days later. Throughout its mission, the spacecraft provided the ISS crew and systems with necessary resources.

"Progress MS-33" undocked from the station on September 7 at 18:18 Moscow time. After that, the final stage of its flight began.

What "Progress MS-33" brought to the ISS

The cargo ship delivered about 2.5 tons of cargo to the station.

The delivery included:

• 1211 kg of dry cargo and equipment;
• equipment for the "Solntse-Terahertz" experiment;
• 828 kg of fuel for ISS refueling;
• 420 liters of drinking water;
• 50 kg of oxygen to maintain the station's atmosphere.

After completing its work, the spacecraft was undocked from the "Poisk" module, deorbited, and directed into the atmosphere. Unburned elements fell into a predetermined non-navigable area of the Pacific Ocean.
