The Ministry of Industry and Trade filed two lawsuits against the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). The department's claims amounted to almost 5 billion rubles, and the case is being heard in closed session by the Moscow Arbitration Court.

The amount of claims for one lawsuit is 4.32 billion rubles, and for the second – 517.89 million rubles. Both lawsuits were submitted for consideration on September 3, and details have not yet been disclosed.

The Ural enterprise is developing the LMS-901 "Baikal" aircraft, which was planned to be launched into serial production in 2026, but these plans were not destined to come true – design flaws were found in the An-2 replacement.

Another important UZGA project is the regional "Ladoga", the development of which has been delayed. Sergey Merenkov, chief designer of transport aircraft at UZGA, stated that the TVRS-44 was eventually decided to be transferred to the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense for the development of a ramp cargo version or with a side door.
